Democrats will do well in 2026 because of Trump pushback. Because 'Trump Bad' messaging will work. Disappointed democrats responding negatively about approval of the party in polls will still show up and vote despite their disapproval.
In 2026 democrats will NOT do well because they have presented a coherent message of exactly how they will do good for swing and soft voters. They will NOT do well because their leaders have figured out how to talk to people.

If the leaders don't figure out a coherent message that speaks to swing voters and soft democrats, and if our leaders are not replaced or do not learn how to speak to those people, 2028 will go poorly because 'Trump Bad' as a central message will not work at that point.
