I felt sad for this tree’s demise, and angry that there are people who destroyed it.

BBC is the British version of PBS. Our current administration is gutting PBS and threatening major media outlets to censor their content, allowing for only Fox News and other approved sources of propaganda. Stories like this would never be told.
