Timelines are always hard to speculate on, especially as it becomes more and more evident that the wheels are coming off the bus. I think it comes down to how tenaciously Trump will fight it. What he wants out of it is total immunity from prosecution, and while the power rush has likely gotten to him, the reality is that he has neither the energy or temperament to be a total dictator, especially since he seems to be checked on most fronts even now, even with a comparatively friendly Congress. He's nearly eighty. Sometimes the hardest part of a grift is knowing when it's time to walk away, before karma catches up with you.
