Old and retired and scared. Very Scared - I fear the disaster we are leaving to the next generation.

But we have freedom of action that many don't.
Because we're retired, we have some financial security and 40 hours a week to spend on activism.

If you can - get out and protest, volunteer, write letters, make phone calls. Whatever your circumstances permit.(Encourage others here on DU)
You can find energy and like-minded friends to chase away the feelings of despair. Don't give into paralysis.
