2. It's not. In the future I'm sure some will regret their defense of how this conflict was prosecuted.

A moral crisis on so many levels. To stipulate who started it (this round) does not in any
way mitigate how morally grotesque this has become. It might be a good time to reacquaint ourselves with lessons of collective punishment irrespective of how ethical (some) of the collective are.
