...when in 1985 she interviewed the Rev. Steve Pieters, a man living with AIDS, on her program. Hearts were changed. It was a very brave thing to do, in those days.
He just recently passed away, I think.
The Bakkers sure had their problems, but (as a former frequent watcher of the OTL Club) I didn't perceive the same focus from them as found on the 700 Club, Focus on the Family, or the others.
