The fact is Roosevelt was the best choice then and Biden was the best in 2024. Our ageism and our ableism lead us to make bad choices in 2024. What should matter is how the job was being done, and frankly Biden did a better job than literally anyone could have expected with the narrowest Congressional majorities in the lifetimes of many voters. I don't blame Harris who stepped up when the party bosses stabbed Biden in the back after the press printed bullshit article after bullshit article to force their hands but it was a massive blunder by both the people and our party to force the most effective President since Johnson off the ticket. BTW we did the same to Johnson and look how that turned out.
