Trump and Netanyahu are pissed at Macron for announcing France will recognize a Palestinian state. They want Macron to capitulate.

Watch for more such undiplomatic letters to the leaders of the UK, Canada, Australia etc.

Apparently when a state wants to recognize Palestine it causes a wild upturn in anti-semitism. Or something
