I'm not sure how much Haberman was allowed to follow up, but I'm guessing Leavitt couldn't explain why someone would have faked the whole thing 22 years ago for the sole purpose so Democrats could attack him for it today. It was in Epstein's or his estate's possession for the entire 22 years. And it was in a bound book. How could someone have faked it?
