5 attempts we know of in 13 months to assassinate political figures; 2 successful. I don't think this will stop here, and I don't see this event turning into a learning moment or unifying force unless elected officials get out there tonight in some sort of bi-partisan media theatre event, holding hands or something. Everyone will go to bed tonight just a little more bitter, hardened, validated and entrenched.
