A commentator on MSNBC implied that Kirk got what he deserved and lost his job for it, so there's that. Pretty tactless, in my opinion.

There have also been a number of TikToks circulating where people are openly gleeful and happy about Kirk being murdered, so there's also that. They're out there if you care to look for them. I wouldn't describe it as mass joy or anything, but each individual one is absolutely reprehensible.

But "the left" isn't celebrating his murder, that's true enough. Neither the left nor the right is a monolithic entity.
