Posts falsely claim Charlie Kirk shooting suspect was a Trump donor
"Tyler Robinson" is a more common name than social media users would lead you to believe.

According to the Federal Election Commission, the Tyler Robinson who donated $224.48 to Trump listed an occupation of "ENTREPRENEUR" and lived in St. George, Utah, at ZIP code 84790. That Robinson donated the money on Oct. 5, 2020, to the "TRUMP MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN COMMITTEE."
Public records showed the shooting suspect's residential address, in contrast, was in Washington, Utah, at ZIP code 84780 physically close to the Robinson who donated to Trump, but not the same address.
The Federal Election Commission website has published the Trump donor's full address. Looking at that address using the Washington County, Utah, property search webpage found that the Robinson who donated to Trump bought the St. George house along with his wife, according to the deed; the Trump donor sold that home in 2022, according to additional records.
The shooting suspect, reportedly a 22-year-old as of this writing, would have been a minor in 2019. In Utah, children can only own or sell property if they are emancipated or married but social media posts from the suspect's mother depicted a close-knit family, according to USA Today, thus suggesting Robinson was not emancipated, and there was no indication that the suspect had married anyone; reputable news reports would have certainly included that.

just like all the projections, but it's wing nut gun violence against fellow wingnuts.

The inscriptions aren't leftist at all, apparently they're related to Groyper and gaming culture.

Do explain how "Bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao ciao ciao" (another engraving on a shell casing) is 'Groyper' related

The song has become a part of gaming culture. Apparently, the shooter was both a Groyper and a gamer.

I see that claim now exploding here on DU, yet I've seen no convincing evidence, just conjecture and nebulous projection

Thank you! I was working off my phone and didn't know how to get back to get the accurate info;

not convinced at all, look at that rando (& very obscure) playlist's songs (Huey Lewis is now a Groyper tell, who knew?)

I am just going to step back and see where it all leads. If it turns out Robinson IS a RW Groyper nutter then I will

I think there is a stronger case to be made for a gamer connection with some of the messaging. Gamers are not

Fair enough, however Spotify has around 700 million monthly users (likely more), and an obscure playlist with only 341

As more facts come out and connections are made, it becomes clear the shooter's "engravings" on the casings

Seems like a lot of money for a 17-year old to donate to a political campaign
