I had a Democratic Senator (Fritz Hollings, Jr.) AND a Democratic Representative. It wasn't a "blue" state, but it wasn't fully "red," either. It was, and still is, a reddish-purple victim of gerrymandering. People got suckered by the corrupt, hypocritical Gingrich regime, and it has only gotten worse. But, I the fever is finally about to break.
