Since they were polling point 15-20 yrs ago. I started out of boredom when we moved to the mountains I had more time.

I can tell you over the years the polls tended to slant more people on it we're leaning to the right which means they are picking up more on the left or people are changing.

About every few surveys they ask you what party you are in and if you answer democrat they will ask if you are a strong one or not. They will ask whether you are centrist, liberal or progressive. They also ask what religion you are and if you pray or if you have no religion.

So before they send any surveys to me they kind of already know how I will answer them which makes me wonder if the pick so many on each side or how they pick? Of course they have no way of knowing who will choose to answer which one as many times I am busy and skip one as do many others.
