In reply to the discussion: I want to talk about Andrew Cuomo for a minute. [View all]Katinfl
(556 posts)57. I listened to him every day during the early days of COVID.
I learned a lot because you could not trust trump about anything. Cuomo was good at what he did at the time, but then it caught up with him. He resigned in disgrace for a lot of reasons and he just could not stay out of the news. Big mistake running for NYC mayor. Like many, they just dont know when to give it up. Now he is a late night joke. Too bad.

Agreed - with Cuomo I always got a strong sense of a very self-satisfied, self-promoting vibe which didn't sit well

Agreed! I can think of a handful of other politicians that I'd like to also never hear from again.

Andrew Cuomo's elitist sense of entitlement had a bomb dropped on it last night.

Yeah, remember how Joe Lieberman, after losing the primary, ran under the Connecticut for Lieberman Party?

He held the NYS public schools hostage while governor. All teachers hate him.

I think we can now count him as no longer a democrat, and exempt from the don't-trash-dems rule.
