him, not just something he has to do to get elected. People feel when they are seen He is authentic in a way that people seldom feel politicians are. Also, he has that delightful smile. His smile is so much a part of his personality that it is what they used to identify his character on Saturday Night Live. He is charming and charismatic. His charm & charisma even come through online. I bet it is even more powerful in person.

He is like Obama, an unusually gifted politician--in the good sense of politician.
