6. I'm confused, trying to find out what is going on

Sunday

I've been away from media all day. It sounds like a senate deal is underway. I turned to C-SPAN 1 and 2 and Zilch. Other programming.

I googled (er, duckduckduckGo'ed_ and have not seen anything relevant to this happening now.)

OK, as I was writing this, I found a CNN article that required me to sign up or something (really CNN? Something SO IMPORTANT to the Country?) Maybe all they wanted was my email address, but even that is too much (besides, they get it already just by visiting the website) I digress.
