People need to understand the consequences. The need to feel the pain.

Besides, which party is actually in power? How fucked up is it, when a majority party can escape consequence over bad policy and hostage taking tactics?

Democrats should have forced the GOP to go nuclear. That was the only option. I’m just seeing a bunch of cowards in government that know they won’t pull the trigger, because well… politics.
