But this is predictable M.O. We organize, march, protest for a year, trying to rebuild momentum after having a presidential election stolen from us, or at the very least, manipulated from us, and that finally shows up in a tanking job approval rating for this incompetent boob of a president. Then, we get some real momentum in some of the most sweeping election results we've seen, especially in off year elections, with major gains being made among some of the demographics that voted for Trump or stayed home in 2024.

And then, boom. Eight Democratic Senators pull out a needle and pop the momentum balloon.

I'm done. I'm glad I cancelled my monthly contribution to the DNC last January. That contribution now goes to David Hogg's "Leaders We Deserve." If we are interested in making sure the disaster Trump is bringing down on this country doesn't ever happen again, then we need leadership who understands that the way we are now doing business is how we got here in the first place.
