that Trump and his evil minions do not give one little poop shit if tens, hundreds, tens of thousands of Americans die of starvation, homelessness or disease. Just as long as they "own the Libs." There was no way from the beginning for us to win.

The reasoning of those Democrats who caved was naive at best. Considering the make up of congress there was no way that we could get the thing done in reality especially if Trump was needed to sign off on it.

What we need to do going forward it to publicize the callousness of the Republican party and Trump. Emphasize the suffering of Americans at their hands. You know those heart-rending ASPCA ads? Stuff like that - but about people.... hell, animals too.
The ads should start right now.
