you understand that this already happened. It is just the notices going out now... The new premiums are actually the same as the old premiums, the only difference is that the subsidies are gone. This did nothing to extend the payment of subsidies.

Rebooting of SNAP... by which you mean a new promise to actually send out payments for a LAW that already exists.

BTW, does the back pay and reinstatement apply to Government contractors as well? When I was a contractor during the Newt Gingrich shutdown, the civil servants all got paid for the missing weeks whether they were working during the shutdown or not. Contractors got nothing, and many like me were required to work ( or quit but then no if you did you would not have a job when the shutdown was over ). Civil Servants make up only about 10 to 20 percent of the workforce, everyone else is a contractor.

There are a lot of Dems here trying to put lipstick on this pig... only the pig isn't sitting still for the process.
