And thats being both generous and also with the knowledge that there is NO sure way at this juncture to know which of them it would be.

The ones that did this did it with the cooperation of those that didn't. Especially the leadership. They did not just turn on 35 senate Dems who told them NO, No way, no how, this is NOT ok, this will have a cost for you.

And its much like looking at the police. Maybe its only one cop in 4 that participates in personal domestic violence and takes joy beating down a insufficiently cowed "suspect" or takes bribes or enjoys harassing women. But the other 3 have their back, thus completing the corruption

When I start hearing word of the 7 losing committee assignments and not being invited to meetings and treated like a deserter... When I hear that this situation has had any actual consequence with the other senators. When they are pariahs, losing the quiet influence they are counting on as unofficial lobbyists for post senate income, or when they move to remove Schumer from his unwarranted position of authority for failing the caucus and the country.. thats when I will believe they stood with us, they are fighting for us.

Till then.. I lay blame for this at the feet of EVERY single sitting US senator. Because they did it together. Every D, Every R, and both I's.

This is a false claim, both the Sunday 'cave-in' procedural vote AND the Monday final passage vote passed 60-40. Celerity Tuesday #14

False spin, there was zero chance that anything passed with unanimous consent could have stopped the final passage. Celerity Tuesday #25

39, not 36. We have 47 Democratic Caucus Senate members. 8 caved. 39 voted No, plus Rand Paul voted No, yielding 40 No's Celerity Tuesday #16
