When I was a young girl,
I got a Republican for my birth-day.
We went everywhere together,
we played, and laughed, and sang.

But the Republican started lying,
and taking things that didn't belong to it.
And saying inappropriate things at my parents parties.
And one night when I was asleep, the Republican ran away.

Never trust a Republican,
or the feelings that they share.
There is something not quite right,
in a Republicans stare.

Never give your heart to a Republican,
always stay on your guard.
Republicans will betray you.....
Republicans are really weird.

When I was a tiny girl,
my aunt had a little lamb Republican.
She'd use it as a oven mitt,
and take a hot casserole out of the oven.
Then she'd chase me around the house,
with the Republican on her hand.
Screaming..
"I BURNT MY TONGUE, I BURNT MY TONGUE!"
