The authoritarian party that wants to tell you what to do with your body is the Republican Party.

This argument of yours merely wants to change the party of who tells everyone what they can to do.

I do agree with you that people should be educated on the effects of psychoactive substances. I am not a libertarian. It is not an oxymoron to support a person's bodily autonomy and social safety nets.
