Watching his daily briefings.

One of the things I loved best was his willingness to own his decisions, admit when they’re not going to be popular (and more importantly , when he got something wrong) but stand by their necessity.

Sometimes I feel like he’s not wholly comfortable in the national interviews and worry about how consultants may try to fix that. You can see the transition from speaking from the heart to the rote talking points.

Overall I’m a huge fan and even have a “Y’all Can’t Be Doing That” mask 😂
