Notice that he's never tagged as the "deeply unpopular" mayor, even though his approval rating has hovered in the low 30s and even hit the 20s!

He has no constituency, except maybe the trolls who attack Mamdani on the occasion when they're too embarrassed to support sex pest Cuomo.
