The Rehnquist 5 along with the entire world knew that the uncounted Florida votes were located in the biggest and most heavily democratic voting counties in Florida. This realty favored Al Gore and the Rehnquist 5 were determined to prevent that at all cost, the U.S. constitution and Florida election law be damned. Since 2000, Scalia called the Bush vs Gore ruling, "Shit" and in 2013 Sandra Day O'Connor admitted that the SCOTUS should never have taken the case. Ya think? The Rehnquist 5's Bush vs Gore ruling was a judicial coup d'état that put Roberts on the SCOTUS that our country will never recover from.
