No...they will treat his statement as deserving of analysis and consideration of what it might mean, and have a panelist on who says the move is consistent with what he has said all along and that it reflects commitment to an ally and that it shows he stands heads and shoulders above all the leaders of the world.

And a rebuttal will just reinforce that there are two worthy sides to the Ukraine issue.
