Feel for you, especially being in KS. Originally from MO myself, with family still in KS, I TOTALLY get the issues!
So sorry to hear about what you are dealing with. All I can offer is to work to elect better legislators who understand that pain is not required. Or, get thee to MO for a buy. I realize the trip might be impossible, depending on what part of KS you are in. It's a pretty good sized state.
The brand is Wana and there are several products with different formulas. Maybe someone you trust travels east from time to time and could bring you some? Would you be in legal danger just having it in the house in KS?
Years ago, I worked with a woman from China, born to a French father/Chinese mother. Highly educated, very
cosmopolitan and worldly. She worked for the French Ambassador in Peking after the war, married an American officer. A year prior to meeting him, she was engaged to a GI from Kansas. Knowing I am from western MO with family in KS, she asked me what her life would have been like if she had married the man from KS. I was honest and told her it would have been SHORT because she would likely have thrown herself down a well after two years. Then I detailed what her life would have been like.
She listened, wide eyed. When I was done telling her about life there back in the 40s and on, she said, "I need to make my husband a very special dinner to thank him for saving me from that!"
I TRULY hope you find some way to get reliable relief. Yes, I know about the problem of meds losing effectiveness over time. That is why I have to be nearly suicidal before giving in and taking something. The pain and lack of sleep over the years has taken a toll on my mental abilities along with the physical limitations. Yes, I understand and wish you solid help.
