where I first ate it.
This was at the NYC 9th Ave Food Festival! About 18 blocks of food vendors, often outside food offerings from the restaurants there, too. And other vendors.
For dessert - Zeppolis!
Fried dough balls with, or w/o powdered sugar on them! 😄
Haven't been since covid. 😌 Had been going for almost 45 yrs?! Since my early twenties.
There was a pie company some years later that eventually got too big, and recipes changed or something...
But back then they had a apple, walnut, something (sour cream?) pie. Ohhh, yum. As a Chocoholic your non chocolate stuff had to be really good to impress me! 😄

I liked the sausage in a bun with sauteed onions and green peppers over the top.
