I was lucky enough to save enough up, and get to a Saturday (both times) when World Con was in Baltimore, and then Phillidelphia ?2 years later. Close enough for me to hop on Amtrack, and get there around Noon time, and then not leave till like 10PM.
Such great fun, between panels, the Venders room, and 🩷 The Art Show!!!
As an artist, often drawer, occasional painter of SF Art it was soooo exciting to see original SF Art. Especially a few that became some of my favorite illustrations for Book Covers!
