5. As I always say, I'm totally *MELODY* driven, only consider lyrics in the supportive/effective/secondary role.

Melody is *ALL*. Despite having a passing musical background that I've left behind - seldom pursuing it to play, only serendipitously seizing on it when it pops up in the car radio or juke box - I have ZERO clue as to what almost all songs "mean" by their lyrics, don't even know what the lyrics are! And that can sometimes get me in "trouble," if I play something for the melody/of course and somebody gets an odd impression because of the lyrics identity.

And, as I always say, I don't idolize individual performers or genres, neither of those taken for the whole of themselves - except for detesting whole genres and their performers (jazz, rhythm-only stuff). If it ain't got a smashing *melody* it's got nothing for me.

So, as for the case at hand, all I was looking for was that bit of melody, and the bonus was that the whole video had some soaring parts. And I haven't heard this Creed thing below in years, but it's an example that the melody drew me back when and what-to-do afterward when the religious affiliation transpired (became known)?! But it's a common problem of what-to-do when a genius artist Richard WAGNER is a Nazi?

Can't help/stop being drawn to a melody or whatever work of art, but the unsettling *thought* will always be attached!

Thanks again for your knowledge, certainly satisfied my curiosity. And the religious facet of the *anchor* has been familiar to me - while mostly significant because of my Navy experience - and I put it on my headstone and a short-sleeved tattoo on my right arm. And long after that, about ten years ago, when I first saw my great-grandfather's stone, *there* was an anchor! But his was likely of the religious type.
