4. I know that house!

I see it from the road when I go out that way. It's a beautiful house, situated just right on the property.

Did you click the "All Photos" link? It shows pictures of each room, and yes, they are huge. This would be a nightmare to heat.

They are a nightmare to decorate, too, with modern standards.

My house is from 1850, and it has 20" thick walls. However, it is not like this because it is a carriage house. The biggest rooms are in the center of the house and are that size, but there are two additions on each end where the rooms are more reasonably sized. The additions were put on in 1950, I think.

Old houses can have old house nightmares. I just went through a plumbing one that cost me around 7 grand.
