2. I remember when Kroger first began the 'Loyalty Card' program.

I asked at the Customer Service counter what the purpose of the cards was. The girl at the counter said that it was so the store could be better informed what kind of products their customers wanted. I said "OOH! I'd like for the store to carry spinach noodles! Here's my card!"
She just gave me a blank stare.

"Kroger has been collecting data on its customers to track their loyalty, then selling that data to the highest bidder"
