3. Can't be anywhere near as bad as Norton. I finally just bought a new laptop because I can't get rid

of all the embedded Norton crap, no matter how many tech blogs and videos I watch (and follow) describing how to do so. That LifeLock identity protection gets a lot of people to go to Norton, but then the DAILY and even HOURLY pop-ups for more and more and more and more add-ons. And if you dare try them, you get charged for the renewals at $$$$ more than the initial subscription. If you decline or drop some of those add-ons, you continue to get notices about it, suggesting your computer is slow (and it frequently IS) without it. The latter tells me that Norton has left some embedded coding that DOES slow it down making many tempted to renew those features.

These big bloated DO-all packages, Norton or others, have me furious. I don't want to have to spend an hour or more each day DEALING JUST WITH THEM. Personal computers should not require THAT much IT effort.
