So Amazon only knows they sold you a subscription card but doesn't know the account number that you'll be using. The Mullvad servers would only see the account number but not know who is using it (no credit card details on their end). I would suggest trying Mullvad, or any VPN for that matter, for a month or two by paying with cash or credit card in order to see if it works for you first before buying an annual subscription.
