I found a nighttime noise maker with a very short usb-usb cable. How to extend? A usb extender changes gender.
So, an old disk drive cable (type B? ) had two male connectors. One for data and one for extra power (old drives were power hogs)
It works. Go figure.
Never throw anything out. You'll need it tomorrow.
I could probably use your cable.
