7. *EUREKA*!!!!!!!!! - Occam Answer!!!!! - 2 buttons, ON & OFF! - Wasted 2 hrs with Samsung tech chat.

Maybe the above about the double A-A caused the problem, flipping buttons? But in the end, after two days of malfunctioning Samsung Galaxy Messages app (no service for Outgoing and unable to open Reply/Attachment, plus no ringtone notification. But Message to out-of-state contact worked normally, while Messages to MULTI-addresses *NO* ("no service" ), and went nuts with all the menus and options.

*** So the Tech CHAT session today of an hour or two was a total waste, as so many times before, where they put you through all routines of basic connections and step by step where you know it's going NOWHERE and will end up THE SAME!

However, with Google found *something* (else, different) like to Clear Cache of lots of things, apps one-by-one and whole System cache - all useful but not to the point for the problem.

*** The EUREKA! - where, well at the "happy" hour, where there are all sorts of answers from professionals in all fields. So this person knew *EXACTLY* what the answer was: That Mobile Data should be ON and Wife Wifi Calling OFF, and VOILA, all the test messages sent over the past two days that had "no service" immediately got Sent *NOW* and some poor recipients going "Whaa" over old messages from yesterday, yet able and willing to answer!

************** Funny aside, "wifi" not "wife"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
