Western Maryland is in MD-06, which is represented by April McClain Delaney, who is a relatively new Democratic representative. She and our governor, Wes Moore, were front and center during all of the flooding. Moore has made money available. However, the state is in a deficit because of several issues: cleanup and rebuilding the FSK Bridge; DOGE slashing the Federal workforce; and our former Republican governor's fiscal shenanigans. People are blaming Moore for raising taxes when the State legislature is trying to cover the money that Hogan lost.

My guess is that the good citizens of Western MD are going to forget all about FEMA in 2026 and blame all of their problems on the Democrats - same as usual.
