Using their logic, you could also state that there aren't any innocent people in Israel.

Both viewpoints are inherently wrong; based on the fear and hatred that has consumed so many lives in the Middle East for going on 80 years now.
Until that belief is rejected, there will be nothing but pain, suffering, death, and destruction there.
