My Mother Jayne, now playing on HBO/Max was fantastic. [View all]

It’s a beautifully made documentary by actress Mariska Hargitay about her blonde bombshell mother, actress Jayne Mansfield, who died in a car accident in 1963 when Hargitay was 3 years old. Hargitay proves herself to be a very talented and candid filmmaker; this film was expertly structured, moving and riveting at times in what it reveals about herself and Mansfield, her extraordinary life as an actress and mother. Very highly recommended.
