Which is cute for obvious reasons

I would say overall it's a tiny step down from Season 1 but nothing major it didn't jump the shark or anything. If there's a weak link it's clearly jackass Gary Cole and his insipid wife being OTT and cliche, but everything else is quite nice, and it's fun to hang out with these folks and like I say a lot of it is heartful and occasionally profound and it's all very well acted. Plus it's all the Bay Area, and there's a definite liberal bent to the proceedings, but without being cloying or too on-the nose.

If you loved the first one, you'll definitely at least really like this one even if it's not quite the equal of S1 (IMHO, ymmv).
