One thing I can tell you for sure, is don't let her take Ivermectin. You're right in it being a baseless wing-nut solution among MAGAts and trump. Its livestock wormer. We use it on the horses and donkeys here twice a year just in case they've picked up any parasites in the pasture. Basically, you're feeding your horse a bit of poison, that happens to kill worms. I don't know why they decided on Ivermectin specifically, when there's many different wormers out there.

I think you're on the right track with trying to keep her as stress free as possible, and a garden is a good way to do that. But, make it an indoor one, with grow lights if necessary. House plants also make for a healthier environment with filtering bad stuff in the air, and putting out oxygen.

Do you have pets? They are really comforting, empathetic, and great as de-stressors.
