3. I just had the same experience. I heard back today - it is cancer, on the side of my face.

The dermatologist offered MOH surgery or radiation - 20 visits. I assume GentleCure is the radiation that was mentioned to me. The only radiation I know of that can be set so that it does not continue through tissue behind the target is proton beam.

I just looked it up. GentleCure is x-rays. Low dose radiation but 20 doses. That adds up. I'm pretty sure they will angle the beams to spread the radiation - spread and minimize the damage - but the x-rays will engage tissue behind the primary target. The company that sells GentleCure is focusing on tissue beside the target, not mentioning tissue behind the target. Our "health care" system is a for profit setup.
We need to do our homework.
