I fell off my front porch earlier in the week and cracked my hip. Standing any length of time is not to be advised, and walking is more than a bit of a pain (pardon the pun). So, I think I'm going to enjoy Mongolian Beef that someone else has prepared for me and I refuse to feel guilty about it. Money's tight, but sometimes circumstances outweigh everything. Besides, I quickly added up a grocery bill of the ingredients I'd need for what I had planned (Tuscany chicken) and I really couldn't see a heck of a lot of difference in price between make it myself and take out. That is, unless my favorite chinese restaurant has increased their prices. At least, that's how I sold it to hubby! (LOL) Meanwhile, I'm going easy on the hip, since there's nothing they can really do about a small crack.. and how can a small crack hurt so much?! ARGH!
