9. Leave overs

As in ‘ I think I will leave over this amount of dinner to have tomorrow so I don’t have to cook ‘
It was a pan seared duck breast finished in the oven with a side of cheese raviolis in a mushroom sauce . Mushrooms sautéed in the duck fat rendered with the searing , a slight roux to thicken . Touch of wine , splash of chicken stock .
Tonite i warmed gently the ravs and sauce in the microwave, sliced then cubed the leftover duck and topped it with a thumb of shredded fontina cheese .

I love my leave overs . I’m in a food coma
