Ingredients

3 to 4 green plantains, cut in thirds
1/4 kg (about 1/2 lb.) ground beef
2 TBSP (add more) finely chopped onion
2 TBSP finely chopped cilantro
2 cloves garlic, minced (or more)
1/2 cup (or more, like 1 cup) finely chopped tomato
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp, salt
1/2 tsp . fresh cracked pepper
Dash of Tabasco, if desired
Oil

Preparation

Peel plantains and cut each into 3 pieces
Cook in salted water until tender (like boiled potatoes}
Let cool, mince, and set aside
In large skillet, brown beef with the onion, garlic, salt & pepper, using a little oil if needed
Add the plantains and remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes (I added some water because it seemed very dry)
Serve
