It has sometimes taken as many as 8 or ten tries to find what he wants at the time. Won't go the "Just leave it, he'll eat it if he gets hungry enough" route because he's quite thin and had lost weight when we last went to the vet. Vet found no other issues.

Not sure if FF has changed their recipes but he does switch away from a favorite but will then go back some days or weeks later even though the offering is from the same box. Haven't come across any former faves that have become permanent no nos...yet.

ETA: These guys' former cat mom, who died during the pandemic, had told me years ago, that Temptations brand treats offered full nutrition and were a good thing to have on hand for picky eaters. Didn't occur to me until months after he came here that she'd probably looked into it because of him. Yeah, I'm slow
