Getting back to the timeline and backstory we start in 2015. Jim Harbaugh does a good job of turning around Michigan football but gets crushed by Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The next couple years with new defensive coordinator Don Brown the game (OSU-Michigan) is much closer but OSU still prevails.

Urban Meyer then hires new offensive coordinator Ryan Day .. Ryan Day had previously worked with Michigan defensive coordinator Don Brown at Boston College.

So with a pretty good knowledge of Michigan's defensive signs and system but mostly because of their great talent and Ryan Day's scheme .. OSU starts crushing Michigan again..
