Anyone notice subscription is the business model going forward for everything from software to clothing to, apparently now, vehicle features? If not leasing the item, you lease any service or help you might need with the product after the ever shortening warranties expire. The future is small homes and smaller apartments filled with things you rent, but never completely own, and can't use without data and features managed and executed on elsewhere. Talk about a "lease on life".

We'll have capitalism (not communism) where no one owns anything directly. Instead of a government telling you what you want and need, it will be companies instead.
